The Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA), accredited by Cambridge English Language Assessment, is an introductory course in teaching English to adult learners for candidates with little or no previous English language teaching experience as well as those with experience but little previous training. The qualification is recognised at English teaching companies all around the world and is very often a prerequisite for those who want to start their career as an EFL teacher.

The course, which is delivered either over 4 weeks intensively or 9 week part-time, is designed to provide teachers with a firm foundation on language learning and teaching skills. The course content include 5 main units:
Upon successfully completing a CELTA course, teachers will have a deep understanding about the principles of effective teaching, hands-on teaching practice, confidence and be equipped with a range of practical skills for teaching English to adult learners.
