Human Resource Supervisor (Visa/Work Permit)
Job Description

A wonderful opportunity to join an ambitious, fast-growing, British-owned education and training organization with a great track record in Vietnam. This position is based in HCMC and reports to the Employee Experience Manager.

The right candidate should have a strong understanding of immigration laws and regulations, excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with employees, government agencies and other stakehoders. The candidate should be a proactive problem solver who stays updated on immigration laws and industry trends to provide expert guidance.

Your key responsibilities: 

COMPLIANCE

  • Supervise end-to-end work permit and visa application processes for international employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to interpret immigration laws and regulations, providing guidance to stakeholders to ensure adherence.
  • Build strong relationships with government agencies, consulates, and external partners to expedite approval processes and troubleshoot issues. 
  • Implement process improvements that reduce application processing times, resulting in increased operational efficiency

ADMISSIONS PROCESSING

  • Conduct regular training sessions for team members and hiring managers on visa and work permit procedure, enhancing company-wide compliance. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws and industry developments, adapting strategies to accommodate changes.
  • Able to handle complex cases, including visa denials and challenges, by considering alternative approaches and obtaining favorable outcomes. 
  • Supervise the visa / work permit team to offer high-quality employee experience to all international staff at all stages of the process
Job Requirements
  • Vietnamese
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Law or related fields. 
  • At least 2 years of experience in supervising end-to-end the work permit and visa application process for international employees.
  • Expertise in immigration law and labor law related to international employees.
  • Excellent English communication, both oral and written.
  • Highly organized and has a high sense of confidentiality.
  • Proactive, flexible, results-oriented and customer-focused.
