IELTS: English for Global Connections

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS)is one of the world standards for English language testing. It is designed to test the ability to communicate in English for education, immigration and professional accreditation.

IELTS is jointly managed by British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations. In Vietnam,British Council has assigned Apollo to be an authorised testing centre. Students can study the preparation course, register and take the IELTS exam conveniently at Apollo.

Apollo teachers are all experienced and at a minimum, CELTA certified, they are well aware of Student’s English learning requirements and can conduct lessons to ensure that students have the best possible chance of getting high IELTS scores.

Programmes

Our IELTS courses focus onVietnamese students’ needs with a wide range of IELTS course books and other up-to-date materials. Students can retake the course, free of charge if they meet our standard requirements but do not pass the final course exam. The course is designed to:

• Target key skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking
• Widen student’s vocabulary and develop essay writing skills
• Create Strategies for dealing with the various question types and formats used in the Reading and Listening Tests.
• Encourage and enable student’s capacity for independent thought to succeed in the Speaking Test.
• Focus on transferability across all four skills to enhance current and future learning
